Steps to Success

Step 1 - Design – Ask us to carry our a site survey.  This is free of charge! 

We will visit your property, carry out a survey and in consultation with you, we will design a solar pv system that meets your exact requirements. We are available for free advice.

Step 2 - Supply – Once the survey and design process is completed we will send you a quote for the complete supply of all the equipment and, if required, installation costs.

Step 3 - Installation – We have installed a wide range of solar PV systems and have lots of happy customers.  Please feel free to ask us for references.  

Once your system is installed and connected you will be eligible to receive the new feed-in-tariff.

What do I need to know?

How big is a typical solar pv system?

Solar PV systems can be as big or small as you like. They are modular and business systems are usually 5Kw or larger. Electricity produced by a solar pv system is usually consumed first, but excess energy produced can be sold back, exported,  to the electricity grid.

How much roof space is required?

Solar PV systems require a good roof space. Our site survey will determine the correct size system for your available roof space.

How does the solar pv system work?

Solar panels or modules are sold in sizes ranging from 10W to 240W.  Our solar PV systems for business are based upon the Kilo Watts peak (kW) installed.  For example, a solar PV system sized at 10kWp may have 47 x 210W solar modules. We supply and install many different types of solar panels.

How do I get the new Feed-In-Tariff?

To be eligible to receive the new Feed-In-Tariff (FIT), your solar pv system, must be installed by an MCS accredited company. Once the system is installed, your details will be entered onto the new Gemserve licensee database. This will generate an MCS certificate with a unique serial number.  The certificate and serial number is then sent to Clean Energy Cashback so you can obtain the feed-in-tariff.

Will I have to change electrical supplier?

No. Selling energy back to your electricity supplier will be a simple process dictated by the new feed-in-tariff.
