Inverters
Fronius inverters include precision
MPPT tracking and are incredibly lightweight. Each inverter has
built-in DC and AC disconnects and in many cases eliminates the need
for external circuit breakers thus reducing installation time and
overall system costs. An active, on-demand cooling system, results
in superior energy output from the PV system. Its lightweight and
compact design means the Fronius IG can be easily lifted on or off
of its mounting bracket. All Fronius IG inverters include an
integrated LCD to record or view over 20 different parameters. The
inverters can be mounted either indoors or outdoors. All Fronius IG
inverters carry a standard seven-year warranty with an option for an
additional three years of coverage.

FRONIUS IG Outdoor |
The FRONIUS IG Outdoors has
been created specially for use in the open air and has been
tested to an IP45 degree of protection. This ensures a
continuous circulation of air that prevents condensate from
collecting. The inverter is also protected against the
entrance of solid particles and hose water. It is also
reliable and safe to use near the sea due to a special
protective coating applied to the printed circuit boards
within the inverter.
The Technical Data of the FRONIUS IG Outdoor inverters
are equal to the devices in Indoor-housing.
The data only differ in the points "Dimensions",
"Weight" and "Protection class".
The FRONIUS IG Central
Inverters are optionally available in a housing tested to an
IP43 degree of protection, which means that these inverters
can also be used for outdoor application.

FRONIUS IG Central Inverters |
The FRONIUS IG central
inverters are suitable for pv systems starting with an AC
output power of 24 kW and work with a completely new system
configuration. There is not only one power stack converting
the electricity but also 9, 12 to 15 printed circuit boards
that share the work, depending on the output class.
The reason for this is that
it is well-known that the energy yield increases in
part-load areas if smaller power stacks are operated at
higher capacity. Therefore, every FRONIUS IG central
inverter works with several smaller power stacks that switch
on or off completely automatically depending on irradiance
so that they can always deliver maximum power.

Also available:
Fronius IG DatCom
– Remote data
communications and data logging features can easily be added and
will transform your Fronius IG inverter into a sophisticated data
acquisition system and weather monitoring station. All data can be
viewed on the IG inverter display and data from optional sensors can
also be viewed on your PC. Data can be downloaded in real
time, or cumulative for the day, the year, or since installation.
One Datalogger Box is required per DatCom system. The Datalogger
coordinates data traffic and stores the data collected from all
Fronius IG inverters and sensors in your weather station. Connection
to a PC or an external modem allows you to monitor your PV system
from anywhere in the world. A communications card is required for
each Fronius IG inverter in your DatCom system. This simply plugs
into one of the available slots. The COM Card supplies power to the
DatCom components.
Fronius IG Sensor Box
– The Fronius IG Sensor Box allows you to
collect even more information about your system. With 6 inputs, you
can measure the array temperature, wind speed, irradiance, load, and
numerous other types of data.
Fronius Interface Box
– The Optional DatCom System is
a feature that enables a user to output data into an open protocol
for a system of up to 100 Fronius IG inverters. This data can then
be used by a third party sources for different monitoring options.
This unit does not replace the need for a Datalogger Box and enables
a user to operate the DatCom System including the use of the Fronius
IG online (free service allowing the user to monitor and analyze
system performance). This interface offers real-time open protocol
data without data storage and stores closed protocol data for use
with Fronius IG access.
Fronius IG Personal Display
– The Fronius wireless Personal
Display shows data from the inverter on a remote LCD that can be
placed anywhere in the home or office. The range is approximately
150 ft. indoors or 450 ft. outdoors. It can be used with up to 15
Fronius IG inverters - each inverter requires a Wireless Card. The
Personal Display operates independent of the DatCom data
communication system and can be used in tandem with it.
