DigiSender™ - The WireFree Video System

What's so special about the Digisender range?
Unique to the entire DigiSender™range is the AEI internal CPU based channel switching interface.  Built into every receiver, the interface displays the current channel selected. An infra-red pickup receives signals from the DigiSender remote control and allows access to programmable dwell time, sequential switching and manual switching. What more could you ask for?

The CPU supports a manual channel selection process, which makes this ideal for a quick and easy CCTV installation. Selection of any one of four channels results in the receiver scanning between channels.

Performance
Superb performance is guaranteed using the DigiSender™.  At the core of the system lies a a fast 2.4GHz ultra low noise transmitter and receiver module. All components are chosen for their high quality and are assembled in the AEI factory using recognised military and ISO production control standards.

With such a high-spec processor each module naturally exhibits a stunning performance surpassing many of the minimum broadcasting standard requirements, and is built with a clear focus on performance over cost.

Antenna System
The DigiSender™ series features two antenna systems providing state of the art microwave signal reception and transmission. It is suitable for a wide variety of applications including home DIY installation and commercial long range applications for bespoke A/V and CCTV installations.

The DigiSender™ long range system offers packs which include all cables and connections allowing installations to be undertaken with the minimum amount of fuss.

DigiEye™ Technology
Since 1993 the superb Digisender range has incorporated pioneering technology and the new and amazing DigiEye™ technology allows all household devices to be controlled from a single location.

A Typical Product Profiled

The DG20RX DigiSender™ receiver typifies the core of a DigiSender™ Wireless Hi-Fi Video Sender System. 

The DG20RX features an internal remote control extender that allows you to utilise your satellite/DVD/VCR remote control in the remote location.

Note: For NTL/Telewest digital cable applications please refer to the DG400 DigiSender™ Gold, or DG100DE DigiEye remote control extender.

The DG20RX is also suitable as a receiver for the DG380P wireless colour camera. When used for CCTV applications, you can add the DGR01 remote control to facilitate easy channel switching.

Q: How many devices can I connect to a DigiSender™ transmitter.
A: You can connect up to 4 A/V devices to your DigiSender™ GOLD transmitter. This could be your satellite/cable receiver, DVD player, VCR, and CCTV camera.

Q: Can I watch my DVD player in the bedroom whilst someone watches satellite in the living room?

Q: Is the DigiSender™ GOLD compatible with my digital NTL/Telewest cable receiver?
A:Yes. At the time of writing the DigiSender GOLD is the ONLY video sender available that is fully compatible with all set top boxes available in the UK

Q: Can I watch 2 different satellite/cable channels?
A: No. Your set top box can only decode one channel at a time. However, you can watch terrestrial TV in your main room and satellite/cable in your bedroom/second television.

Q: Can I add additional receivers?
A: Yes. You can use the DG40RX

Q: How can I connect the receiver if my bedroom/second television has NOT got a SCART socket?
A: You need the Aerial Converter MOD01PIS

Q: I have an analogue cable receiver without a SCART socket. How can I connect the DigiSender transmitter?
A: You can't connect the transmitter directly to your cable box. However, you can connect it to a VCR and send signals from this.

Q: Is the DigiSender compatible with FreeView free to air set top boxes?
A: Yes.
